Installing it
- Run the downloaded file.
- Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” box saying the app is unrecognised. This is expected — it appears for any new installer Microsoft has not seen many times yet, not because anything is wrong with the file. Click More info, then the Run anyway button that appears.
- Clarity Markup opens with a 14-day trial banner across the top.
- Drag a drawing, photo or PDF onto the window and start marking up.
When the trial ends
Buy a licence and the key arrives by email. Press Enter licence key on the banner — or About then Licence… — and paste it in. One seat per person; a key moves with you between computers.
